Key West Rental - Transient License Information
Featuring Nightly, Weekly and Monthly Key West Vacation Rentals
The city of Key West has a law that requires all vacation rentalproperties that are rented on a nightly or weekly basis to be in possession of a local transient license.
Property owners that do not poses a transient license are limited to renting their vacation rentals by the month or longer stays only.
Why is this important to you. Renters risk being evicted and losing their deposit money if they are caught renting from an unscrupulous owner that does not posses a transient license. This includes any nightly or weekly Key West rentals.
Our vacation rental property is in complete compliance with this ordinance. There are many rental owners that are not in compliance. Don't take a chance on having your vacation ruined.
If you are reported to the authorities by another property owner you stand the chance of having your vacation ruined. It's happened on many occasions.
Transient licenses are issued for specific areas in Key West, for short term rentals, with only a limited number available for those specified areas. Transient licenses for vacation rental property are a very expensive and a valuable asset for any property for that reason.
Our Key West Resort is in the restricted area and vacation rental property owners are required to hold a transient license to be able to rent nightly or by the week. We are one of a few vacation rentals in the 1800 Atlantic resort that has the distinction of being licensed for both nightly or weekly rentals.
We offer the perfect option to the small hotels or Key West Inns. Duval Street hotels pale in comparison when you compare our amenities and spacious lodging we offer.
We invite you to be our guests on your next vacation.
